Options and Pricing

For 2013, Greenmoore Gardens will be offering 2 distinct share types.  The Variety Share is the traditional CSA share, where you receive a box of vegetables every week.  For your convenience, we will have 3 sizes to choose from. The Custom Share is based on credit and custom members will have the choice of ordering exactly what they want in their share box.

We are also excited to announce that we will be starting the Market Style Pick Up this year for all on-farm pick ups.  Our vegetables will be out on display and our members will walk through and choose their own vegetables to put into their share.  There will be limits on some items and options for choosing between others.  There will also be a trade table where members can exchange unwanted items from their box.

Our off-farm locations will continue to be a pre-boxed share.  This is perfect for members who enjoy the surprise variety of their box each week or for people who want the convenience of a quick, close pick up.

Variety Share

Each week, receive a box brimming with farm fresh produce. We grow
many different vegetables in succession so members always receive a
broad sampling of what is in our fields. Our best value delivers excellent
variety! Egg shares also available.

Small Share – $425 
28 small-size shares delivered over 28 weeks. This is equivalent to the half share from last year and will fulfill the veggie needs of 2-3 people. 

Medium Share – $725 
28 medium-size shares delivered over 28 weeks. This is equivalent to the full share from last year and will fulfill the veggie needs of 4-5 people.

Large Share – $875 
28 large-size shares delivered over 28 weeks.
Will fulfill the veggie needs of 5-8 people.

Bi-Weekly Share  - $425 
14 medium-size shares delivered over 28 weeks.

Custom Share

Perfect for those who do not want to commit to a weekly share, or those who prefer a more customized share.  Create your own share box by ordering directly from our webstore!  Each week, you can conveniently select which items you wish to receive.  Custom members may pick up their share at any of our pick up locations.  On-farm pickups will be market style and off-farm pick ups will be pre-boxed for you.

Starter Membership – $300 credit
Use your credit to order directly through our webstore.

After receiving feedback from our staff and custom members last year, we have made some changes to streamline the process and bring our custom members the best experience possible.  We have established some terms and conditions that we ask all of our custom members to agree to and abide by.

-Orders must be placed by 8 am the day before a particular pick up.  For a Tuesday pick up, orders must be received no later than 8 am Monday. For a Friday pick up, orders must be received no later than 8 am Thursday.  We plan our harvests very carefully and this ensures that we will be able to have enough for everyone.

-We will update the webstore at least once a week. This will allow custom members to know that they are seeing the same produce as variety share members each week.

-Produce availability is subject to change.  Farming is an unpredictable occupation and sometimes unforseen events cause us to lose a crop.  We will do our best to resolve any problems that occur from this with either a replacement item or a refund of that particular credit.

-Credit will expire on the last day of the Summer 2013 CSA season. (Nov 15)  When customers purchase a CSA share, they are investing in the farm for the season.  We use the share money for seeds, equipment, labor, and other costs of running a farm and have to plan well in advance to produce the appropriate amount of vegetables.

Egg Share

Full Egg Share
One dozen eggs delivered weekly over 28 weeks.  $98

Half Egg Share
One dozen eggs delivered bi-weekly over 28 weeks. $49

Herb Share

A helping of herbs delivered weekly over 28 weeks. $75

***NOTE***Herbs will be included with vegetable shares also, but will appear less frequently, and in lower volume than with the purchase of an herb share.
