Community involvement is an integral part of any CSA farm. Whether through work trading, volunteering, an internship or a full time member of our crew, we have many opportunities for you to get involved with Greenmoore Gardens. Spend some time with our crew, learning how your vegetables are grown at the same time you help out your local farm.
We are currently hiring in all positions for the coming 2017 season. Please email us a resume at email@example.com for more information.
Take the opportunity to learn more about Greenmoore Gardens as you exchange your work hours each week for your share box. We have several positions available each season, including staffing share pick ups, staffing our farmer’s market stand, and working on the farm in the field helping to harvest and put together the shares each week. We are looking for reliable workers that can commit to a seasonal schedule. This is a very popular program, so if you are interested please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to apply.
We are offering spring, summer and fall semester internships. We have opportunities in the field, in sales and marketing, as well as in administrative and CSA coordinating.
We welcome all volunteers to the farm all the time. Sustainable farming is a labor intensive process and we are happy to have all the help we can get. Come out as a group or just on your own to give us a hand and learn what really goes into organic farming. Please contact us by phone or email to set up a time.
Our farm is open to the public and we would love to have your group or class out to the farm for a tour. Most tours include a visit to all greenhouses and fields with explanations on growing over 100 varieties of vegetables organically as well as some sample vegetables from the field. We have had groups from first grade all the way through high school, college, grad school and adult learning classes, and would be happy to tailor your tour to your specific needs or requests. Again, please contact us in advance to make sure we can schedule your tour.
