The journey through the growing season will bring many familiar faces, and some surprises! Our fertile soil nurtures a wide selection of produce.
You should expect to see many varieties of the following produce in your box throughout the harvest season:
Early Season: (mid-May to July): lettuce, snap and snow peas, kale, chard, arugula, radishes, parsley, dill, salad mixes, pac choi, kohlrabi, spinach, wide variety of other greens, fava beans
Mid-Season: (July to September): tomatoes (heirloom, cherry, and slicing), peppers (sweet and hot), eggplant, celery, kohlrabi, cabbage, chinese cabbage, broccoli, beets, carrots, scallions, onions, leeks, beans, potatoes, summer squash, cucumbers, melons, basil, salad mixes
Late Season: (September to mid-November): lettuce, carrots, beets, winter squash, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, brussels sprouts, turnips, radishes, rutabaga, parsnips, leeks, celery,onions, kale, chard, spinach, arugula, salad mixes, kohlrabi, pac choi, scallions, potatoes, sweet potatoes
As you can see, we grow many different types of vegetables, but also grow many different varieties! On top of the 50+ types of vegetables, we have over 120 different varieties to give you a very interesting mix! We have also added perennial crops like asparagus, raspberries, and herbs, with plans for more berries and fruit plantings. We hope to make these foods available next season and in many seasons to come!
